Some of these are just silly. I mean, "raining men"???? For chrissakes, we do have a FORMAT you know, and SOME modicum of taste. So, keep mailing em in to Perki and they'll get posted here and I'll try and find the damn things.
wow, now some of these are quite interesting...gonna take quite some doing to make THIS guy happy, but at least HE'S requesting real goth tunes. thank gawd.

heres a good one, criticism of the club before it has even opened......my my.
However, the fellow DOES have his info straight (aside from the rather harsh critique of the released cd.....oy), the creatures release IS the collection of rarities and b-sides. Maybe we'll all see him anyway...*grin*.
I was very excited when I spotted the Sanctuary flyers in various
locations around town recently. I'm a big fan of Siouxie/The Creatures
and saw the bit on your flyer about --Record Release Party for Siouxsie
Band "The Creatures"...New Release Party-- But then I saw another flyer
that had the name of the release: "BESTINAIRY." Then I thought that
something smelled...
Um, what is this "new release?" Is there really a new album coming out
from The Creatures called "Bestinairy?" Surely you guys *aren't* talking
about the 1997 (german) Creatures import called "In Bestiary Of?" This
is a *terrible* disk. Technically it is a "new release," but in reality
it's just an expensive ($18) compilation of old (bad) music that was
only released in the UK in the early 80s. Translation: Siouxsie or
someone is just trying to make some money here!
And it doesn't even sound like the Creatures at their peak. It sounds
like very bad Siouxsie/Banshees (prior to the formation of the
Creatures). It sucks.
Please help me with some info, as this is important to me!
If you *are* talking about that release as representing your "New
Release Party" then I suggest that you make it clear in some way (on the
Sanctuary website?) that this CD is *not* a new Creatures release... it
is a compilation of very, very old B-side type music.
If you are talking about the "In Bestiary Of" disk, then I'm very
disappointed, as I was hoping that there would be a new album (I assumed
the Creatures were long dead). However, if I am totally wrong, if there
really *is* a NEW Creatures release that you'll have available, then
please write back and let me know! I will definitely be there! If I
don't hear back, I'll assume that what I've said is correct, and I'll be
bummed and you guys won't get all my money for the party and
afterparty...

oh just warning though, whatever you do don't go numero-dyslexic and
play track # 10 (Don't Sit On My Jimmy Shands) -- or anything by Jimmy
Shands for that matter. it's, er, a polka that ends in a reel and a
jig. chaos and blood everywhere, no doubt.
((note from perki -- actually jigs and reels go off pretty well in a goth club...go fig...))
so if you're gonna blow the cue, avoid that one or there'll likely be a
riot and ^,,^ will well, run away screaming (and dance in the parking
lot ^,,^ does polka too!) no, if you're gonna blow it, see if you can
hit, say, track #12 ("Mother Knows Best") on the same CD -- in which
case you'll still have a riot on your hands -- but at least they'll be
grinning and dancing as they set your DJ booth on fire. catch this:

sharpen her tongue and teeth so. thought i had it bad? pah! ever see
^,,^ dance with a true colleen? no? right, and you never will. at not
the real thing, that is, right off the boat. man oh man when they
finally let'em out howling from the convent and its all banshee fang and
saddle shoes i tell ya. yikes! kinda like our own beloved 'Bridget
Black' -- only with 100 lbs more muscle and fangs all the way down to
here -- can you imagine? not likely. (^,,^ can goof on 'Bridget' like
this 'cause she assured him at Spanky's after mass that she always
deletes ^,,^ 's "poopy posts" unread -- yeah this was ^,,^ 's personal
spanky for the night...) but you need not worry about such things now,
do ya? (lucky stiff!) but i digress.
so if your gonna blow it at the mixing board with Rumor And Sigh in the
box -- go ahead and make it Track #12 "Mother Knows Best" -- at least
you'll get to see ^,,^ dance on the ceiling like deputy dawg then finish
all naked in a grand mal seizure at your feet. promise.
its a winner babe, garun-fruckin-teed! and hey, ^,,^ is looking out
for your career (as both he and Lady Lupo intent to suck off you for the
rest of your life when you are discovered and go way summo).

and one last thing. if you _do_ deign to be merciful and play
either/or, please do it a tad later rather than earlier -- as ^,,^ is
gonna try to talk Lupo into going to the burningman thing first -- in
hopes of luring some dumb fay betties to Sanctuary (we figure its our
ownly shot as all the list betties are "way too fookin smart for us")
yeah, the plan is we'll use Lupo's good lucks and ^,,^ fast tongue.

not likely, but we're "fookin desperate" as well (you- know- who) sez.
